Актуальность данного исследования определяется в контексте изучения национальной литературы, истории и культурной идентичности, где особое значение приобретают художественные произведения и исторические источники как носители коллективной памяти и этнической самобытности. Произведение является важным источником для понимания не только историко-литературного и социально-политического процессов региона, но и духовного состояния общества страны в условиях революционных перемен. Цель статьи - раскрыть образы героев, судьбы которых отражены в ранней автобиографической повести классика татарской литературы Гаяза Исхаки "Зиндан". Предметом изучения является документальная повесть "Зиндан", которая воссоздает картины общественно-политической жизни страны, Казанской губернии и ее провинции. При внимательном изучении повести "Зиндан" с целью увидеть и понять особенности общественно-политической жизни того времени, мы убедились в том, что в микромире провинциального города отражаются характерные для всей страны картины. Вклад художника слова в формирование нового мировоззрения современников выявляется с течением времени. Более чем через 100-летие читатель получает возможность внимательно вглядеться в прошлое, дабы, усвоив те уроки, жить более комфортно в современной ему действительности. Опыт своей страны основополагающий, никакие чужеземные модели не приживаются на другой национальной почве, и этот опыт необходимо внимательно изучать, чтобы лучше понять самих себя. Творческое наследие Г. Исхаки в настоящее время разносторонне изучается, и данная статья - это попытка через его раннее произведение увидеть перспективы его дальнейшего творческого пути. Новые знания, полученные путем кропотливых трудов, могут быть использованы как исследователями татарской литературы XX столетия, так и преподавателями вузов, аспирантами и студентами, изучающими наследие Г. Исхаки.

The relevance of this study is determined in the context of the study of national literature, history and cultural identity, where works of art and historical sources are considered particularly important as carriers of collective memory and ethnic identity. The work is an important source for understanding not only the historical, literary and socio-political processes of the region, but also the spiritual state of the country's society in the context of revolutionary changes. The purpose of the article is to reveal the images of heroes whose fates are reflected in the early autobiographical story of the classic of Tatar literature Gayaz Ishkaki "Zindan." The subject of study is the documentary story "Zindan," which recreates pictures of the socio-political life of the country, the Kazan governorate and its province. With a careful study of the story "Zindan" in order to see and understand the features of the socio-political life of that time, we were convinced that the micro‐world of a provincial city reflects the pictures characterizing the whole country. The contribution of the master of the pen to the formation of a new worldview of contemporaries is revealed over time. More than 100 years later, the reader gets the opportunity to carefully look into the past, so that, having learned those lessons, live more comfortably in modern reality.
